Lane closures on Bangerter Highway at 9000 South could start Tuesday

Delays of up to 90 minutes expected on I-15 over Memorial Day weekend along the Wasatch Front

A driver going south on Interstate 15 through both Salt Lake and Utah counties may face 90 minutes worth of delays Thursday and Friday, thanks to heavy Memorial Day weekend traffic, the Utah Department of Transportation warns. UDOT says traffic is expected to start building on I-15 as early as noon on both days as vacationers head out of town.

Utah County approves deal to lure mystery data center to Eagle Mountain

Utah County Commissioners on Tuesday gave their thumbs up to a deal to lure a data center to Eagle Mountain shrouded in secrecy - but not without first grappling with some concerns. That included implementing a 40-year cap in the interlocal agreement that would start out with an estimated $150 million in tax breaks for the data center's first two-building phase, with taxes to be waived for up to 20 years per phase.
