The 22-year-old ballet dancer and soccer player who lost her legs in a Bahamas boat explosion is opening up about her difficult recovery . Stefanie Schaffer of Rutland, Vermont, was on a boat tour in the Bahamas with her family when out of nowhere the ship exploded.

On Oct. 24, at approximately 1:45 p.m., a trooper with the Vermont State Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 17 in the town of New Haven. The operator was also observed using a hand held electronic device while driving.

WWII vet remains return home

After more than 70 years, the remains of World War II veteran Herbert W. Harms are returning to his hometown of Rutland. According to a press release issued by the Illinois State Police, Harms has been listed as "killed in action" since 1944.
