The group sought union representation and now has a new two-year contract that provides a grievance process; seniority rights in regards to bidding routes and work schedules; and guaranteed pay increases in each year of the contract.

Hunters rescued after becoming stuck in Maine bog

Three hunters were rescued Monday night from a bog in a rural area about 20 miles north of Portland, Maine, according to a local official. After receiving a call from a smartwatch, New Gloucester Fire & Rescue and the Maine Warden Service were able to use GPS coordinates to determine the hunters' general location, near 495 Intervale Road in New Gloucester, according to Captain Scott Doyle of the Fire & Rescue.

2 collisions tie up interstate traffic Wednesday afternoon

Four cars, a box truck and a Breeze bus carrying passengers from Brunswick to Portland collided in two separate crashes that tied up southbound traffic on Interstate 295 for about two hours Wednesday afternoon.
