A 70-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in a four-car accident on Highway 70 north of Marysville that closed the road for several hours. Around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday the California Highway Patrol received a call after the southbound 2001 GMC driven by Edward Banas, 70 of North Highlands, crossed into the northbound lane of Highway 70, crashing into other vehicles.
