Prosecutors drop charges against woman involved in fatal Andover crash

Essex County prosecutors Wednesday dismissed charges against a Lawrence woman involved in a fatal multivehicle crash on Interstate 495 in Andover in March that killed a local tow truck driver. Dionne had previously been charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of the motor vehicle, motor vehicle homicide by operating under the influence, and negligent operation, as well as civil infractions, according to the district attorney's office.

Missing 12-year-old boy in Lawrence found

The Lawrence Police Department is no longer looking for information on the whereabouts of a 12-year-old boy who was previously reported missing. Police posted photos of the boy on social media Tuesday morning and said he is known to hang out in the city's Arlington district and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie sweater, gray shorts and Adidas sneakers.

NECC artists' work on exhibit

Five Northern Essex Community College Commonwealth Honors students, in an unusual collaboration with Bowdoin College Museum of Art, have created their own mini-exhibits based on objects they found of interest in that museum's collection.
