A man is in critical condition after he was beaten with a baseball bat Saturday afternoon during a dispute outside a Flint liquor store. A fight broke out between two men around 2:30 p.m. May 19 in the parking lot of Davison Road Market, 2319 Davison Road.

Hurley docs say Flint children were lead 'exposed,' not lead 'poisoned'

Doctors at Hurley Medical Center have dumped the term "lead-poisoned" when referring to Flint children who went through the city's water crisis and adopted a replacement -- "lead-exposed." The doctors unanimously approved a resolution at an annual meeting this week, agreeing to discontinue the use of the word "poisoned" when the medical staff communicates as a collective body, according to a posting on Hurley's Facebook page.
