Volunteers will work Saturday and Dec. 8 to convert a 3.5-acre campus at a Fairfield homeless shelter into a resilient, mixed-canopy urban forest. Preliminary hearings set for suspects arrested on felony warrants

Solano board OKs Fairfield train station area transition district

The Solano County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a policy plan overlay district that will allow temporary relocation of existing businesses from the Fairfield Train Station development area to 83.5 acres on North Gate Road adjacent to the city.
