A Des Plaines man is facing an attempted first-degree murder charge after he allegedly shot at a man during an argument outside a Park Ridge shopping center. David Jilwaya, 44, of the 100 block of Jeffrey Lane, was arrested June 12 after police said he fired a gun at an employee of his tow truck company during a dispute in the parking lot of the Landings Shopping Center, Dempster Street and Potter Road, around 8:30 a.m. He is being held without bond in Cook County Jail, the Cook County State's Attorney's Office said Wednesday.
