AJM Packaging Corporation in Taylor Fined $263,000 by MIOSHA for Amputation Hazards

June 22, 2017 - The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued citations with penalties totaling $263,000 to AJM Packaging for amputation hazards at its Taylor, MI, plant. The citations are the outcome of MIOSHA inspections of two reports of finger amputations on machines and an employee complaint alleging numerous safety hazards.

Walk-A-Thon planned to help support Taylor Truman DECA students

The Taylor students and members of the Student Council will co-host the fundraiser during homecoming week in the fall, but they'll be working all summer to secure local business sponsors and people to pledge money for the walk. Man who allegedly ran over woman in Kroger parking lot charged with armed robbery

Shortly after 7 a.m. June 13 a 64-year-old Taylor woman was attacked in the parking lot at the Kroger store at Monroe Boulevard and Ecorse Road. A man walked up to the woman's car in the parking lot of the store and asked to borrow her cellphone.
