MS-13 member racketeering conspiracy conviction

On Wednesday, a federal jury convicted Raul Ernesto Landaverde-Giron, a.k.a. "Humilde" and "Decente," of Silver Spring, Maryland of conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise in connection with his gang activity as a member of La Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13. Landaverde-Giron was also found guilty of murder in aid of racketeering; conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering; using, carrying and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence; and murder resulting from the use, carrying and discharging of a firearm during a crime of violence.

Specifically, the agency approved the Masters Series Mechanical Heart Valve with Hemodynamic Plus Sewing Cuff to include the 15-mm valve size, making it the smallest mechanical heart valve approved in the world.

Victima s cause of death released in a unusuala Bethesda house fire; police still investigating

Police in Montgomery County say they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 21-year-old man last fall who was killed in an "unusual" fire in a Bethesda house that had an extensive network of tunnels dug underneath it.
