Suspect being questioned in fatal Lynn shooting

A man is being questioned in connection with Monday night's fatal shooting in Lynn of a restaurant delivery man, according to Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett's office. The man was identified as Brian Brito, Blodgett's office said in a statement released around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Water plant fire probed

A four-alarm fire at the water treatment plant in Peabody last night shut the facility down, but residents should not be affected, city officials said. Public Works Director David Terenzoni said the town is also hooked into the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority's pipelines and can use that source for clean drinking water until the plant is back on line.
