The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit board has approved a $36.3 million contract for the train line's extension from San Rafael to Larkspur. Former SFUSD Staffer Busted For Bayview Sexual Battery

A man who worked at several San Francisco school campuses was arrested earlier this month, following an investigation into an alleged sexual battery at an area middle school. In a press release sent Monday afternoon, the San Francisco Police Department says that 35-year-old Novato resident Donovan Harper was arrested on June 8, eight months after police say their Special Victims Unit "launched an investigation into a report of a sexual battery upon a minor at a middle school in the Bayview District."

Police: DUI collision off US 101 prompts traffic delays

Police are asking drivers to avoid a popular intersection in Novato until at least 8:00 a.m. due to a DUI collision. Around 3:15 a.m. police responded to a car crash at the intersection of Ignacio Blvd. and Enfrente Rd., which is right next to a Highway 101 entrance.
