Patwa, 46, doesn't remember undergoing the procedure, which is also called female genital mutilation or cutting and which has been condemned by the United Nations and outlawed in the U.S. But she doesn't want to.

New Milford film board to host free screenings April 27

Six short films will be screened at the Bank Street Theater this week during a Film Commission event aimed at getting more exposure for Connecticut-made films.
