Feds issue high wind and fire warning for the region through Sunday morning.

High winds and low humidity have fueled disastrous wildfires throughout California this year, and those conditions are set to return this weekend. On Dec. 14, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory and "fire weather watch" warning for much of the Central Coast, due to a forecast of gusty winds and low humidity from 10pm, Dec. 15, to 10am, Dec. 17. Among the places specifically called out in that warning locally are the Los Padres National Forest in Big Sur and Pinnacles National Park and the surrounding Coast Range.

A local delicatessen that's slowly building a meat empire in Waltham is now officially open for business in Boston. Moody's Delicatessen & Provisions opened its doors for regular business on Monday after a soft opening on Friday, Dec. 8. EPA updates North Bay fires response

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has completed asbestos removals at 131 properties in Sonoma, Napa, Lake and Mendocino counties, as part of the multi-agency response to the recent North Bay fires, agency officials announced.
