Suspected trespasser claims he was 'exercising' on property

Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a Monroe man on suspicion of criminal trespass and resisting an officer last week after reports of a suspect wearing black clothing and walking around a neighborhood home. Deputies made contact with Eric Montrell Jamar Daniel, 26, of 306 South 28th St., Monroe, who was standing underneath a carport of a home.
