There's another arrest to report in the undercover sting to arrest men who help facilitate the human sex trafficking in Louisiana. Carlos Furlow was arrested after allegedly offering $75 for sex with a female.

Authorities say each man contacted an undercover agent via phone call or text message and offered money in exchange for a sexual favor. In each case, investigators say the suspect arrived at a Motel 6 in West Monroe to conduct the transaction.

A West Monroe man is accused of spraying hot water on his friend's small dog, then sticking the dog in a freezer for 30 seconds. According to arrest records, the pet's owner left her Yorkshire Terrier with her friend, Samuel Smith, at her Ashford Place Apartments home Wednesday morning.
