A Pleasanton woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a crash that killed a toddler on Interstate 680 in San Ramon last September, law enforcement officials confirmed Monday. Yarenit Liliana Malihan, 40, self-surrendered at the Martinez Detention Facility Monday morning after authorities obtained an arrest warrant for her last week, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Tyler Hahn.

Possession: A 23-year-old Concord man was arrested in the 1300 block of San Carlos Avenue at 5:49 p.m. on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. Loitering: At Ellis and Laguna streets, a female transient, 27, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. on suspicion of loitering with the intent of prostitution.
