MARANA, AZ - Railroad traffic through Tucson is at a standstill because of a truck that is stranded on the tracks near Cortaro Farms Road on the northwest side. The pickup track got stuck straddling the space between two sets of tracks.

25-month Closure of Ina Road at I-10 Begins Wednesday

A major road closure affecting thousands of Tucson-area drivers begins early Wednesday with the shutdown of Ina Road at Interstate 10 for 25 months to construct a new interchange. Funding for the project comes from the Regional Transportation Authority of the Pima Association of Governments and Marana, which is providing $25 million to widen Ina Road and related bridge work.

Stephen "Steve" Nameth, 94, a long time resident of San Manuel, passed away Jan. 3, 2017 due to natural causes at the Casa de la Luz Hospice.
