Suspect named in shooting of 2 after Easter church services

Police in Massachusetts have released the name of a man suspected of killing one man and injuring another as they walked home from Easter church services. Cash, who is known to use multiple names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers, is suspected of fatally shooting 46-year-old Leonardo Clement and injuring 41-year-old Prince Belin on Sunday in Lynn.

Lynn mourns Easter Sunday shooting victims

Religious leaders in Lynn plan to hold an interfaith prayer service on Thursday to remember two community activists who were shot on Easter Sunday while walking home from church services. Leonard Clement, 46, was killed when he was shot just before 3:30 p.m. in downtown Lynn.


VICTIM NAMED The 46-year-old man killed in a double shooting Sunday afternoon in Lynn was Leonardo Clement, Essex County prosecutors said. Clement, of Lynn, and a 41-year-old man were shot near Spring and Exchange streets around 3:30 p.m. Clement was pronounced dead at North Shore Medical Center.

Reflection, good deeds on Good Friday

Two Lynn men are charged with raping another man in that city early Sunday morning, leaving the victim critically injured, Lynn police said.
