Sheriffa s Office: Man takes acid, steals truck near Lodi

San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 1700 block of East Armstrong Road at 12:24 p.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a man wearing only underwear had stolen a company truck and drove it into a vineyard.

As talks have stalled between the Lodi Unified School District and the Lodi Education Association, which represents teachers, hundreds of educators have taken to cramming school board meetings to protest.
