Motorists are advised to be courteous to other drivers on the road, but there are limits to such magnanimity, evidenced by a three-vehicle pileup on Holland's North Side last evening. According to Ottawa County Sheriff's Sergeant Cal Keuning, 68-year-old Davey Greathouse of Holland was attempting to turn left from westbound Riley Street to Whitewood Avenue, a block away from the 128th Avenue intersection, just after 5 PM.

Two people arrested Friday evening after a break-in at a Holland business have since been linked to as many as 12 break-ins, including one that led to an arson investigation. Ottawa County sheriff's deputies arrested a 48-year-old Holland man and a 16-year-old Holland boy around 4 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, after police said they broke into Beechwood Cleaners, 248 Douglas Ave. in Holland.
