Pedestrian dies after being hit by driver while crossing Hillsboro street

The pedestrian, 61-year-old Elena Rocha-DeLeos of Hillsboro, was hit while crossing Southeast Johnson Street about 6:50 a.m., according to Hillsboro police. The driver was turning left from Century Boulevard onto Johnson Street at the time of the collision, the agency said.

A man died after exchanging gunfire with Hillsboro Police on Saturday night, after officers responded to a domestic disturbance call.
