Liberty woman pleads guilty to federal drugs, weapons charges

The U.S. Attorneys Office announced recently that Jennifer Jackson, 25, of Liberty entered a guilty plea in federal court in Greenville to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. 922 , and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, in violation of Title 21 U.S.C. 841. U.S. District Judge J. Michelle Childs of Columbia accepted the guilty plea and will impose the sentence after she has reviewed the pre-sentence report, which will be prepared by the U.S. Probation Office.
