Military Honor Garden makes more progress

Monuments representing the five branches of the military are being installed in the Military Honor Garden at Hunter Park. The project is expected to be completed by Veterans Day.

Four students at Burnett Elementary School have been suspended after allegedly sexually assaulting another student on a school bus May 1. Four elementary school students have been suspended after another student was allegedly sexually assaulted on a school bus on the way home from school, an official said. The Douglasville Police Department incident report is heavily redacted because the students are all juveniles.
