Police report that at about 12:45 pm on July 10, Jonathan Burke, 39, of Trumbull, who was driving a commercial 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck northward on South Main Street, attempted to make a right turn to enter a driveway at 219 South Main Street, when the truck was struck from behind by northbound motorist Joseph Castle, 72, of Maryland, who was driving a 2006 Hyundai sedan. Castle was transported by the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance to Danbury Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to police.
