Firefighters, an ambulance and animal control responded to the report of the dog attack, in the area of 347 Menlo St., around 5:50 Saturday, officials said. As a result of the attack, Perri-Angelo was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center with significant, but non-life threatening injuries, Brockton Deputy Fire Chief Mark Baker said.

A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to serve up to 12 years in prison for his role in the stabbing death of a 22-year-old Brockton man. The Brockton Enterprise reports that 27-year-old Tyron Coney was sentenced to eight to 12 years behind bars after he was convicted of manslaughter after a seven-day trial.

Judge asks jurors in '85 murder case about bias allegations

More than 30 years after a Plymouth County jury found 19-year-old Darrell Jones guilty of a Brockton murder, three jurors appeared in court Tuesday to answer allegations that the conviction may have been tainted by racism. After nearly four years of serving as the executive director of the New Bedford Art Museum/ArtWorks!, Noelle Foye announced her retirement this fall.  "It has been a wonderful and rewarding experience.
