Bountiful gynecologist admits to streaming child porn

A Bountiful gynecologist accused in state court of sexually abusing children pleaded guilty to a federal child pornography charge Tuesday. Nathan Clark Ward, 56, admitted that he streamed video on his smartphone from his home to Robert Edwin Francis in which he lifted up the shirt of a minor to expose her breasts and pulled down her pants to show her genitals between June 2013 and August 2015.

Refinery fire leaves film of oil on school, homes

An overnight fire at a West Bountiful refinery deposited a thin layer of oil on cars, homes and an elementary-school playground nearby Tuesday morning. Crews doused the HollyFrontier Refinery blaze within a half-hour early Tuesday morning, said spokeswoman Cindy Gubler, but the company was helping the school clean up throughout the day.
