A man threatened a 16-year-old girl and tried to kidnap her Wednesday afternoon in Beaverton, an official said. The teen told police the man walked past her, turned around, grabbed her arm and threatened her while holding a knife, said Officer Mike Rowe, a Beaverton police spokesman.
