Michael Douglas Smith, 51, reportedly was on his roof, threatening officers, across the street from an elementary school in lockdown. The armed man who was shot and killed by Beaverton Police officers this morning has been identified as Michael Douglas Smith, 51. The incident, at 2030 S.W. 170th Ave., was across the street from Beaver Acres Elementary School and a short distance from Merlo Station High School.
