A Roslindale woman is facing charges that she tried to pass $12,000 worth of Suboxone to her husband during a court hearing in Attleboro as part of scheme to smuggle the drug into the Dedham jail where the spouse is being held, officials said Friday. Sejuan Davis, 42, allegedly tried to pass more than 60 strips of Suboxone to her husband, Kevin Davis, 57, when he appeared in Attleboro District Court for a hearing on a pending breaking and entering case, Norfolk County Sheriff Michael G. Bellotti said in a statement.

Hastings students get head start on future

Students at the Elizabeth I. Woman admits to smuggling heroin from Mexico in truck's axle

An Attleboro woman admitted Monday to allegations that she arranged for over 6 kilograms of heroin to be hidden inside the axle of a truck and driven from Mexico to Rhode Island, federal prosecutors said. Olga Lidia Sandoval, 39, of Attleboro, pleaded guilty in US District Court in Providence to charges of possession of more than a kilogram of heroin with intent to distribute and conspiracy.

Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational-Technical High School and its superintendent, James L. O'Brien, have settled two lawsuits filed by former information technology director Michael Wildrick alleging O'Brien launched a secret, "bogus" investigation of him and terminated him without good cause, despite his 16 years of employment and consistently positive performance evaluations. O'Brien said in an interview Monday that settling the cases was best for students, faculty, staff, Wildrick, and the school climate.
