Massachusetts' highest court has ruled in a property tax dispute involving a Roman Catholic shrine that attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims and tourists each year. Passenger dies after cab is struck in Attleboro

A Roslindale man was arrested early Saturday after allegedly slamming into a taxi while driving drunk on Interstate 95 in Attleboro, killing a passenger in the taxi, State Police said. Michael Spinale, 41, is facing multiple charges, including motor vehicle homicide, operating under the influence of liquor, and speeding, State Police spokesman David Procopio said in a statement.
