An Antioch man was sentenced to four years in prison Tuesday after he was convicted of possessing child pornography, according to the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office. Drugs: At 7:57 p.m., officers were called to a suspicious vehicle in the Vista Diablo Mobile Home Park on Somersville Rd. and saw Salvador Quintero, 31. Upon being seen, Quintero threw what officers suspect were drugs on the ground. Quintero was arrested for the drug possession as well as an additional restraining order violation and being a suspect in a stalking and burglary case on Feb. 1. Robbery: Police received a report of a robbery from the night before from a resident on the 400 block of Grangnelli Ave. The victim said that at 8:30 p.m., he was approached from behind by a suspect who pointed a handgun at him and demanded his wallet.

Davies who lives off O'Hara said today he knew of "at last least 12 dogs" dying since Saturday in that neighborhood and told how one was saved by being rushed to Antioch Veterinary hospital where evidence of strychnine poisoning was found.
